In 1966 in the Parliament of Canada in a Minority Government the NDP got their Medicare passed and Canadians got their Health Care covered with a Health Card instead a Visa or Master Card.
Medicare today is in peril due to Conservative Mulroney Conservative Jean Chretien Conservative Paul Martin and Conservative Stephen Harper cuts to Health Care by design cuts of thousand cuts until their is no more Medicare.
It was Conservative Fiance Minister Paul Martin who in 1995 with no shame at all to please his Bay Street pals he cut MEDICARE to the tune of 25 BILLION DOLLARS and today we feel the consequences, do I have say more!!
This can be stopped and by electing a NDP Jack Layton NDP Government so NDP Jack Layton can fix and enhance Medicare for its people ie Canadians. It is up to you if you want to go back and use VISA or MASTER CARD or keep our Medicare if so VOTE NDP!!! it is that simple folks. VOTE NDP!!!
